Renvyle is a small but lively village, spread along the north side of the peninsula, with a pub, post office, the Hotel and beaches close by. Tullycross is the next village about a mile away, and it also has a pub and shop, and the road then leads towards the mouth of the Killary through Lettergesh and then to Salruck.
