The Cottage: This house has one of the most spectacular views of Killary Fjord & the Wild Atlantic Way. Situated a short walk from the picturesque sleepy village of Leenane, you can either walk to the cosy pubs for a pint, enjoy a meal in the great local restaurants or just enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace while taking in the view. This is a great location for exploring Connemara and also Mayo – the house is situated near the county border. It is also a great spot for adventure lovers. There are numerous mountains leading down to the sea around you and the fjord is the perfect location for kayakers or paddle boarders. Head to Killary Adventure Centre for numerous activities that they offer.
Stoneacre is built on an elevated site with 180 degree views. The house has panoramic views from all major rooms with mature, terraced garden leading down to the road, giving you a great feeling of privacy and uninterrupted views.
Inside: This house is full of character and little extra details. The large kitchen/dining area has all mod cons including large freezer and AGA Cooker. The kitchen is set out so you are over looking the dining area and stunning views. This is a great room for entertaining as there is a small seating area or outside patio where diners can enjoy a glass wine and soak in the view, while waiting for dinner. There is also a large utility room with a toilet off it. There is also a TV with a selection of DVDs available.
A hallway off the kitchen brings you down to 3 double rooms, one en-suite, & 1 twin room. You will also find a large bathroom with walk in shower and bath. The large sitting room, offers more stunning views with a further TV and stove for you to enjoy a cosy night in.
