The House: A lovely house located near the fishing village of Cleggan Connemara, located at the start of the Aughrus Peninsula – just 15 mins from Clifden. It is on the Wild Atlantic Way with an amazing coastal view out to the Atlantic Islands including Inishbofin and Inishturk. Stunning scenery, great quiet beaches nearby for swimming and walking.
The small village of Cleggan has turned into a little hive of activity and great food. Enjoy some deep sea fishing trips
or catch the ferry for a day trip to Inishbofin Island just 40mins by sea. There is also a great riding stable just outside the village which offers beach trekking on Omey Island and Cleggan Beach. Make sure to call into Olivers for fresh seafood.
Claddaghduff village is just a 5 min drive away and is the gateway to beautiful Omey Island and strand. Call into Sweeneys Strand Bar for a pint after a busy day on the beach.
Inside: Robins Lodge is a cosy apartment style holiday cottage. It sleeps two in a double bed. There is a shared drive and the owner lives next door but there is plenty of privacy.
You enter into a bright open plan living/dining/kitchen room with a well-equipped kitchen. There are cosy armchairs to enjoy the TV in the evening with the Sky channels. There is a separate utility room with washer/ dryer. You will also find a double bedroom with ensuite & walk in shower.
